CAS awarded place on Digital Outcomes and Specialists Framework

Computer Application Services (CAS) is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a place on the new UK government Digital Outcomes & Specialists (DOS) Framework.

The DOS framework will be available through the Digital Marketplace,  making it easier for public sector organisations to find people and technology for digital projects.

You will also find our Workpro case management and complaints handling system under another framework on the same online Digital Marketplace, G-Cloud 6 for cloud technology and support.

The DOS Framework

CAS services are available under the ‘Digital Outcomes’ category of the DOS framework. This category covers the research, test, design, build, release, iteration, support or retirement of a digital service.

CAS has many years’ experience in the design, development, implementation and support of digital projects in the UK public sector. Clients include, for example, the Royal Air Force (a customer for over 30 years), the Local Government Ombudsman in England and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman among many others.

The Digital Marketplace

The Digital Marketplace has been created by the Government Digital Service (GDS) and the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) in an attempt to transform the way the public sector commissions digital and cloud services, by making it simpler, clearer and faster for them to buy what they need.

Using the government’s online marketplace is intended to reduce the time and cost traditionally associated with procurement, allow buyers and suppliers to talk to each other so they can decide whether there is a good fit and give more suppliers the opportunity to support digital transformation across the whole of the public sector.
