CAS becomes Living Wage Employer

Computer Application Services is pleased to announce that it is now an accredited Living Wage Employer.

Signing up to the voluntary scheme means that every member of staff at Computer Application Services (CAS) earns not just the Minimum Wage but the Living Wage.

The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost of living in the UK. It is currently £8.25 per hour.

Chris Ellis, Chief Technical Officer at CAS, says: “We are a close knit team and every member of staff at CAS is highly valued. So it almost goes without saying that we believe every member of staff deserves to earn a living wage.”

About 2,000 businesses in the UK have signed up to the Living Wage. It is supported by organisations including Citizens UK and the TUC.
